It is known that for a sport to achieve a high degree of acceptance throughout the world, it must arrive at a level of prominence in the United States.  Our USTTF Marketing Director Clark Mitchell, has spent years in the service of Table Tennis and is a former Executive Director of USA Table Tennis.  Mr. Mitchell, along with Mrs. Li Rong, a former Women’s National college champion in the USA and China, are extremely interested in the development of the sport in the United States.  Many of the Chinese Table Tennis Association members are currently the heads of Chinese industry or government.  These “sons of the Peoples Republic of China” regard Table Tennis as “their sport” and they honor their forefather’s relations with the United States from the 1971 Nixon Ping Pong Diplomacy.  This celebration between nations is highlighted every year with the meeting of diplomats and dignitaries of both countries. Because of our history and support of ongoing foreign relationships, you as a sponsor may receive enormous benefits in China and the USA by supporting Table Tennis today.

The USTTF is currently searching for major sponsors to support important programs and events held at schools, colleges, clubs and national events. In turn, the USTTF would grant to sponsoring entities, naming rights and logo identification at major tournaments throughout the country.  Other opportunities would include name recognition on scholarships to prominent junior players, school programs, leagues, clubs and regional tournaments.  Our ultimate goal would be to establish an elite training facility for our promising and upcoming Olympic athletes.  This training facility would be built and maintained as a dedicated site, giving name recognition to the sponsor.

Since Table Tennis attracts players of all physical sizes and athletic abilities, the sport is extremely competitive and encourages youngsters to improve their level of fitness through proper nutrition and aerobic exercise.  At the same time, it develops upcoming elite athletes who can then represent the United States in friendly foreign competitions such as the Olympics, Paralymics, Jr Championships, PanAm Games, World Championships and numerous US National tournaments.  Seniors also enjoy this lifetime sport where tactics and strategies improve mental health while strengthening their physical condition.  These senior individuals contribute as administrators, volunteers, coaches, fans and donors.
